Modufile's own code is licensed under the MIT License and the complete source is available on GitHub — audit exactly what happens to your files. Third-party components below remain under their own licenses.

This application uses MuPDF, Ghostscript, and PyMuPDF — all © Artifex Software, Inc. and licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0.

✓Open source use: Fully permitted. The AGPL requires that source code of any application using these components (including over a network) be publicly available. Modufile's complete corresponding source is published at github.com/Modufile/Modufile, which satisfies that requirement.

✗Proprietary / commercial use: If you build a closed-source product using this code or the WASM binaries, you must obtain a commercial license from Artifex Software.
